As we continue to scale, we are looking for a powerhouse Head of Growth to lead our expansion from NYC, ensuring OK COOL remains the first choice for brands looking to matter in the modern world.
The Role:
As the Head of Growth, you are the engine behind OK COOL’s commercial and cultural expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the US growth strategy while collaborating globally with our UK and Australian counterparts.
This isn't a "sit back and watch the pipeline" role. You are a hands-on strategic lead who thrives on the craft of the pitch, the chemistry of networking, and the thrill of positioning our agency as a global titan. Your mission is clear: Deliver on our goal of being Globally Famous for helping brands be Culturally Cool.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Leadership & Strategic Conversion
You are the lead architect for all US-based new business efforts. You don’t just manage the process; you elevate the work.
Strategy Owner: Working closely with CEO and founders to implement and execute a clear new business strategy, prioritizing the right size and type of clients we want to work with.
End-to-End Ownership: Lead the response for all inbound inquiries, from initial qualification to final contract, working with and motivating cross-functional teams along the way.
Strategic Counsel: Act as a senior strategist on pitches. You aren't just project managing; you are providing strategic input, shaping the narrative, and ensuring our response is world-class.
Custom Resourcing: Work fluidly with resourcing and department leads to assemble "dream teams" tailored for each specific pitch opportunity.
Network Leveraging: Actively tap into your existing network and build new high-level relationships to share the OK COOL story and generate high-value proactive opportunities.
2. Global Network Integration (The Residence Connection)
OK COOL is part of the Residence network. You will be our primary global point of contact for the group for all new business conversations, ensuring we are the "go-to" social and creator partner for every agency in the ecosystem.
Relationship Architect: Build deep, lasting bonds with leadership across all Residence network agencies.
Co-Pitch Lead: Act as the OK COOL lead for multi-agency co-pitch opportunities, ensuring our unique value proposition is seamlessly integrated into group-wide solutions.
Internal Advocacy: Proactively seek out ways to increase awareness of OK COOL’s capabilities within the group, driving internal referrals and collaborative growth.
3. Marketing, Thought Leadership & Profile Elevation
You will lead the implementation of our marketing efforts to ensure OK COOL shows up in the right places at the right time.
Brand Presence: Determine our presence at global industry events and within the Residence network marketing calendar.
Annual Trend Report: Working closely with our UK team, take a lead role in the production and distribution of our signature annual trend reports and thought leadership pieces.
Institutional Excellence: Elevate our "sales kit" - overseeing the modernization of case studies, award entries, website updates, and credentials.
Founder PR: Partner with OK COOL’s founders, CEO and internal thought leaders to amplify their voices, helping to raise the collective profile of the agency.
About You
Experience: You have a proven track record of winning high-value accounts ($1M+) at top-tier creative or social agencies.
Network: You are a fixture in the NYC brand and agency world with a black book that gets us into the right rooms.
Taste: You are a storyteller who can take complex cultural trends and turn them into a compelling commercial argument.
Mindset: You are entrepreneurial and scrappy but possess the polish required to navigate a global network like Residence.
Vibe: You are ego-free and collaborative, happy to roll up your sleeves on a deck one hour and present to a CMO the next.

Compensation: $175,000 – $210,000 base + growth-based bonus structure

Primarily remote with occasional in-person and client collaboration in office
Summer Fridays early closing between Memorial Day and Labor Day
